House for dating in the dark

For the first time, the participants see whom they’ve been dating. After they’ve finally seen each other in the light for the first time, they each have to make a difficult decision.

The singles meet up every day in the darkroom — first as a group, then one on one. And of course, all of their experiences are discussed in detail in each side of the house, with rivalries flaring up when two people set their sights on the same person.

After several days of meeting others in the darkroom, the participants select the one member of the opposite sex that they want to see revealed in the light.

Each contestant is standing at opposite ends of the dark room with a very large two-way mirror between them.

A color camera films from the dark side of the mirror while the other is illuminated on the other side.

Despite being stood up by his chosen date Dorianne De Pao, contestant Alan Warren would later team up with her to sing Rock Me Amadeus on an episode of Harry Hill's TV Burp.
